Born in Ireland in 1959, Dennis Spillane always had a keen interest in art and has become an accomplished artist. He has had numerous successful exhibitions in Cork and all over Ireland. In this new body of work, which has been two years in the making, he has tried to explore through paint the elements that made up ancient Ireland with its mystical landscape, poets, head-hunters, druids and the like.
Dennis enjoys expressing his artistic talents in his preferred medium of oil paints, using stark contrasts in colour and texture. |
