Why not record a scene without having to discard what the eye truly sees?
Blake Coverdale creates large ultra wide images, working with panoramic large format and scanning swing-lens cameras.
| | | | 'When I make a photograph I try to record everything I see. I use dedicated panoramic cameras which enable me to capture a very wide angle, the photograph becomes a window into my vision. I try to give the feeling of actually being present in the landscape - emphasising the supreme scale of the location. I'm passionate about finding stunning beauty in the landscape, my artistic intent is to capture that beauty and draw in the viewer back to that original scene' - Blake Coverdale | | | | Exhibition Launch | | | | | John X Miller Director Cork Vision Centre, Lord Mayor of Cork Michael Ahern and photographer Blake Coverdale | | | | | Photographer Blake Coverdale | | | | | Lorraine Cahalane, Finola Horgan Cork Vision Centre |
