Cork: - Building the Vision
| The changing face of Cork is encapsulated in Cork – Building the Vision – an extensive photographic exhibition due to run during November 2006 at the Cork Vision Centre.
Specially created for the Cork Vision Centre by Cork based architectural photographer Janice O’ Connell’s company F22.
Graduating from the Crawford College of Art & Design in 1989, Janice O’Connell has been involved in professional photography ever since. F22 is the only photographic company in the Cork region to specialise in architectural photography.
Cork – Building the Vision presents a photographic narrative of the changes that have occurred in the city’s urban and built environment since the Celtic Tiger first sprang to life.
Visually striking, Cork – Building the Vision records the extensive nature of such changes in a way that is dramatic and dynamic yet simultaneously precise and meticulously crafted.
Cork – Building the Vision will be officially launched on Thursday 2nd November at 6.00pm at the Cork Vision Centre.
Opening to the public on Friday 3rd November, the Exhibition will run until Saturday 2nd December 2006.
