Deconsecrated as a church in 1949, the Cork Vision Centre @ St. Peter’s offers a wonderfully spacious interior beneath a restored vaulted ceiling.
An elegant, modern intervention incorporates a multi purpose Gallery, as well as a garden to the side of the building which is perfect for summer weddings and photographs.
We place great emphasis on quality to ensure the success of your most memorable and treasured of days.
Located in Cork City’s historic centre, the Cork Vision Centre @ St. Peter’s is the perfect venue for your Civil Wedding.
For this very reason, we will take the time to discuss your ideas and requirements with our experienced, dedicated and friendly team of staff… from the initial planning stages right to the celebrations until the champagne corks have popped!
Civil weddings held the Cork Vision Centre @ St. Peter’s have generated a terrific response from not only the marrying couples but also from their families and guests. While the Centre can accommodate up to 60 people (seated), the Centre’s total capacity is 400 (standing).
Our Civil Wedding package includes:
> A dedicated event organizer on hand to assist you.
> Set -up of decorations/flowers for the ceremony.
> Drinks reception set up. (Drinks reception optional)
> Recommendation of Photographers, Florists and Caterers familiar with both the building and the Centre team here, with whom you can discuss what you have in mind for your day.
> Use of Centre amenities if so required; Sound system, wall mounted plasma screen and DVD player amongst others.

| Myself & my husband got married on the 16th of September 2011 in the Cork Vision Centre. For us it was the perfect location for our wedding service, a beautiful old church with a modern and fresh air to it. Planning the service was so easy as the staff have a wealth of knowledge and experience, and are a pleasure to work with. Finola and the team were extremely helpful and made great suggestions regarding music, flowers, decorations and our drinks reception. We were not living in Cork at the time and were only able to visit the centre on a few occasions, but that was all that was necessary to get everything organised. On the day the place looked even better than I imagined and the service was beautiful. Everything ran like clockwork, the staff were professional and friendly. The sun shone so we were able to have our wedding photos in the small courtyard next to the centre. So many of our guests commented on how they loved the location and though the service was really beautiful. I would highly recommend the Cork Vision Centre as a wedding location, we only wish that we could do it all over again. Thank you to all the staff,

The proximity to the registry office meant we didn't have to pay the extra fees and made the whole process a lot easier for us. The exhibition and the model of Cork added a bit of culture and were a great talking point on the day, especially for our visiting guests from abroad. We really couldn't have asked for a better venue and a lot of our guests even said it was the best wedding they had been to!
